Since 1960
Plaster products have been manufactured and sold at 88 Albion St Essendon since 1935.
In 1960 Francesco Vitale a migrant from Italy purchased the existing business and with his 3 sons changed the name to F Vitale & Sons and commenced producing sheet and ornamental plaster products.
Frank and his sons expanded and diversified the business creating a construction division and a transport division.
Sixty years on and another generation of Vitales has joined the business expanded it further opening a branch in Tullamarine and moving the transport to Campbellfield.
But they still stay true to Francesco’s original vision providing a quality product at a fair price.

Pieces from all the Architectual styles that have had a significant impact on Australia are on display. From the early 1800s at the beginning of Queen Victoria’s reign through to the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods of the early 20th century. These and other lesser-known styles are available for you to brouse.
There are pictures of most of our pieces on this site but if you are unfamiliar with sizes and celling heights it is often good idea to see the actual piece before committing to its purchase. Our friendly staff will be happy to guide and advise you or just leave you to browse in peace.
