Water was the predominate influence in the later part of the Art Deco period.
The pattens in these cornices all reflect ripples or waves on water.
The larger cornices CN1139, CN417 CN49 CN52 and CN53 would all be used on a ceiling 3 metres or over.
The others would be quite comfortable at 2.4 or 2.7 metres.
